Start / Finish Area

The start of both races will take place on the Belle-Rive esplanade (access 24 Bd Marcel Pourtout, 92500 Rueil-Malmaison), located 600m from the Bords-de-Seine park.

Arrivals will take place as for the previous edition at the Parc des Bords-de-Seine stadium, CR 25, 92500 Rueil-Malmaison.

Time limit

The streets used by the runners must be returned to traffic from 1 p.m. We will therefore be obliged to disqualify the runners passing in the second lap in front of the entrance to the stadium (located 12.5 km from the start) after 12:10 p.m.

Routes

The routes largely follow the river Seine banks and cross landscaped parks.

Both races are accessible to wheelchair and joëlette runners. 

The half-marathon is carried out in two laps and a loop of 5 km, on a route similar to that of the 10 km.

Access to the race site
  • By car, the recommended parking is that of LeasePlan, access to which is at 8 Bd Marcel Pourtout, 92500 Rueil-Malmaison. The car park located above the A86 slab, accessible via Boulevard Marcel Pourtout, will be open for runners until 9 a.m. and exit can only be made after 12:30 p.m.

  • Pedestrian access
    Rueil-Malmaison RER A station is located 1800 meters from the Parc des Bords-de-Seine

Medical certificate

Articles L231-2/L231-3 of the sports code and circular n°13 of April 21, 2008 of the French Athletics Federation (FFA), oblige all French or foreign runners to provide proof of their aptitude for running in competition, aptitude justified by a medical certificate If you have a license, you can present a sports license "Athlé Compétition", "Athlé Entreprise", "Athlé running" or "Pass' J'aime Courir » issued by the FFA and valid.

The medical certificate of no contraindication to the practice of athletics in competition is therefore mandatory. It must be dated less than one year from the date of the race. You will have to provide a medical certificate either by mail or directly when picking up the bibs. 

Be careful if you forget it or if the document does not have the right information, your bib cannot be delivered to you.

The copy of the medical certificate is accepted. The medical certificate is issued by your doctor.

Foreign Participants are all required to provide a medical certificate dated, signed, and in French (regardless of the country of establishment of the doctor) or to which is attached a translation in French, dating from less than one year on the date of the competition, including one of the following mentions:

  • "no contraindication to the practice of athletics in competition"

  • "no contraindication to the practice of running in competition"

  • "no contraindication to the practice of sport in competition"

For runners arriving at the RER station, the city provides a free shuttle bus.

  • For the outward journey, the buses will park at13, rue des deux Garesfrom the RER and will drop off runners at the "Château" Av Napoléon Bonaparte stop. The runners will have to join the Parc des Bords de Seine, 600m away.
    Shuttles from 7:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
    Departure every 15 min.

  • For the return, the runners will have to go to the"Castle" stop.
    Shuttles from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to the RER station.
    Departure every 15 min

Warming up before the race

A collective warm-up is organized at the Parc des bords de Seine stadium before each of the races by David, state graduate and Sports Health Educator at our partner The Loft.

Meet at 8:50 a.m. for the 10km and at 9:50 a.m. for the half-marathon.

Lockers and changing rooms

A free locker is organized near the departure/arrival area. Participants can leave a closed bag there to pick it up after the race.

Changing rooms will be available to runners, as well as a few showers.

Refreshment stations

Approximately every 5 km, at the aid stations, runners will be able to find water and fruit. 

Refreshment also on arrival.

For safety reasons, water bags and bottle cages are prohibited.

 

The arrivals supply area now includes water fountains, to avoid single-use plastic bottles and glasses as much as possible.

Each runner will receive a reusable cup upon arrival.

Technical characteristics of races
  • 1 central care and first aid post on the start/finish area

  • 1 PC race on the starting area

  • Marking every kilometer

  • Volunteers: about 150

Animation
  • A sound animation (speaker) is provided on the start/finish area.

  • We will do our best this year to provide musical entertainment at the stadium and on the course, for your pleasure and to boost your performance. 

Timing by chip ⏱

All registrants receive a bib incorporating an electronic chip and will be initialized automatically on the starting line (by passing on the carpet). The real time is determined by the difference between the time of passage on the starting carpet (and not the starter) and the passage on the arrival carpet.
A competitor not passing on one of these 2 mats cannot be classified at the finish.

Treatments and podiatrists
  • In the event of a medical problem, runners must contact the Civil Protection, at the entrance to the gymnasium.

  • For comfort services after the race, volunteer physiotherapists await you at the finish, at the stadium.

Awards
  • A trophy cup for the 3 first finishers in each category of the 10km and half-marathon scratch and for the first in each category ([Cadet] - Junior - Espoir - Senior, M0 to M10), male and female categories ).

  • All finishers will receive a finisher's medal.

  • Podium ceremony at 11:00 for the 10 km and 13:00 for the half-marathon.

Group Challenge

In partnership with the CCI of Hauts-de-Seine and its special Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games business club, the Challenge Entreprises GOJO-P 92 rewards the best team in each race, encompany or sports club.

 

The ranking is established (separately for the half marathon and the 10 km) on thefirst four of each club or company.
Company or club runners can also receive individual awards.

The trophy will be presented during the awards ceremony for each race.

Rueillois Challenge

The 4 best inhabitants of Rueil-Malmaison in the general classification (woman and man) for each of the 2 races (half-marathon and 10km) will once again win a 30-session RED card worth €699 valid for 12 months offered by The LOFT, our partner.

This card gives access to group classes, small group classes (RPM - Sprint- CrossFit- TRX - Boxing - HIIT), training platform, relaxation area, training towel, weighing analysis by InBody impedancemetry, 2 hours of coaching .

 

We will contact the 4 winners if you cannot stay for the award ceremonies.
